λ/10 High Precision Wedge Windows
The K9 High Precision Wedge Window has a 30 arc-minute angle between its two planes.
The non-parallel planes help to avoid interference effects caused by the reflection of light from the front and back surfaces of high-parallel windows (Etalon effect).
Additionally, they prevent optical interference feedback in laser resonant cavities, leading to poor laser output stability and mode hopping.
